Eclectic artist, wife and mother of two children, she loved to draw, to paint and much more… While she was attending her secondary classical studies, she began studying painting at Martenot Art School. She went on with her artistic apprenticeship in Florence at Maria Luigia Guaita’s print workshop “Il Bisonte”, where she met Henry Moore, and learned lithographic and engraving techniques. She graduated at Zurich Art School Kunstgewerbeschule, under the leadership of Johannes Itten, the Bauhaus exponent. Still Nicoletta wasn’t content to stay long in a single place, neither physical, nor emotional. She worked as a graphic designer and stylist at Centro Di, Florence, where she attended to art books, catalogues and exhibitions. She graduated as a Herbalist at Siena University. She studied theatre, mime and movement in Paris with Jacques Lecoq, within disciplines from Neutral Mask to Commedia dell'Arte. She started the performing career that took her around the world: Mexico, Holland, Germany, Berlin and Paris again. Then, a long living experience in Australia, where she worked as visual artist, performer and theatre teacher. Then she came back to Rome where she worked as a TV and cinema actress and theatre performer. Meanwhile she devoted herself to social issues pertaining to equal opportunities and gender policies. As soon as Nicoletta decided upon Florence as her fixed residence, she established a non-profit organisation, WOW (Women On Work) and started a new career as a social manager. She taught communication, art, movement and mask-work in many training courses. She became a professional facilitator for international working groups. But all times, when she came back home, Nicoletta had to paint.
