- PAPERPARKing's solo exhibition - Festival della filosofia sulla natura 2011 - eco-poetic installation in Sassuolo.
The last installation by Nicoletta Boris, departed while she was still working at this project. Planned and supervised with Tik.farm, the event is a metaphor of a seemingly both helpless and inert nature: a white bare tree, set in the middle of the space, comes into leaf again through community’s participation. For three days, grown-ups and children take part with their creations, realized during Bruno Munari’s Laboratori Creativi: at the end of each session, the works of these new artists are hung on the tree as an integral part of the installation. So redefined and inhabited by an entirely-made-by-recycled-tissue-paper’s world, the historic space of Cavallerizza Ducale becomes an unusual work in progress.

- First place in TALENTO section at CARTE 2010 prize, award promoted by Symbola and Comieco associations, with the following reason:
“… for the use of paper in her works and, in particular, in the performance Regatta di carta, in which a myriad white paper boats have competed in a race along the Arno River.
From the simple interaction between solid material and water, the performance turns out to be original and suggestive, notably both for the use of paper as sculpting material and for the choice of a particular typology of paper, a maize starch-based one, which has allowed each boat to take different directions.
It casts our minds back to children of the past that enjoyed themselves making simple paper boats, and it becomes in this way some sort of childhood metaphor.”
